There is little doubt that information technology is integral to all higher education activities, characterised by the need to respond rapidly to evolving pedagogy, research demands, and student engagement initiatives. Innovative solutions and new technologies are defining the way we live and work within the HE sector. The expectations of the university community are high, and as ICT professionals we must embrace the challenge of delivering innovative technology solutions that support the world-class academic endeavours at our institutions. QUESTnet 2016 will provide a forum for sharing practical experiences and showcasing solutions.Importantly, it aims to contribute to developing expertise across the full spectrum of ICT used in the higher education sector, and establish a platform for future collaboration. Its audience is HE technologists; people who are making a difference at their respective institutions. QUESTnet 2016 will attract more than 450 delegates. It will consist of a strong line-up of informative and engaging keynote speakers, technology streams focusing on practical examples of innovative solutions delivered in the higher education sector, collaborative workshops, relevant sponsor engagement, and a good balance of networking and social events. This year’s conference will be held from 5 – 8 July 2016. Please join us at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the beautiful Gold Coast, Queensland, for QUESTnet 2016: Technology supporting innovation.
